On the doorstep of Perth, and yet a million miles away from the hum drum of modern life. Fairbridge Village will be transformed, for one special weekend, this December, into an arts playground and a banquet for the senses – a place where magic is made and memories are treasured.
DISCONNECT is an experience for the body, mind, spirit and soul, as we bring together Music, Art, Comedy, Big Ideas, Local Artisan Food & Drink, Vaudeville performance, Camping and Lots and Lots of Fun.
Featuring a fantastic international and Australian line-up, DISCONNECT is a creative, interactive environment, full of surprises and unexpected moments, set to appeal to music lovers, nature fans, kids and their families, foodies, funksters, adventurers and folkies alike.
FAIRBRIDGE VILLAGE is a beautiful, Nationally Heritage Listed Village, located in the rolling foothills of the Darling Ranges, a mere hour south of Perth. This is a truly extraordinary setting, with abundant mature trees, wildlife, parklands and infrastructure, providing the perfect setting for the festival and camping grounds.
The Village is an enclosed, leafy parkland town site, including cottages for accommodation, public swimming pool, sports and recreational areas. Sports activities on offer for you and your mates include cricket, football, basketball tennis courts, mini golf, children’s play grounds, adventure courses, bush walks and beach volley ball!
If you feel like a camping upgrade, there are a number of stunning heritage cottages are available for hire to groups of up to 24, right in the middle of the festival! Best of all, the village is isolated at the end of its own road, with no neighbours.
Thus the scene is set: a brand new festival for WA, of international quality, with a very Australiana twist. Welcome to DISCONNECT
